February 20th, 2008
Dr James Jooste thanks the Diabetes Research Foundation of WA for its generous support from the Kelva Cambell Postgraduate Fund in 2007, which has enabled him to springboard to the next stage in his career. He is delighted to have been awarded a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2008-2010, which will fund a PhD study program in Professor Grant Morahan's laboratory.
