A Visit from The Hon Judi Moylan MP

We were delighted to host a recent visit by The Hon Judi Moylan MP (Federal Member for Pearce). As the Chair of the Parliamentary Diabetes Support Group, Mrs Moylan has presented internationally on issues such as insulin pumps and the Medicare Rebate. Mrs Moylan met with Professor Grant Morahan to discuss the research and outcomes from the Centre. She also saw the new FACSAria II cell sorter in action, with a sort underway by Sarah Lilley and PhD student, Ben Dwyer. Also present were Chairman of the Diabetes Research Foundation, Dr Erica Smyth and Executive Director, Ms Sherl Westlund.
